Two Wheels of Awesome 108: Summer Fun With Ghisallo

Just because school’s out for the summer, that doesn’t mean we stop biking! Many recreation centers  and schools throughout Austin offer summer camps for kids, which include arts and crafts, rowing, swimming, biking, etc. This summer, we at Ghisallo are offering bike clubs at Perez, Langford, Ortega, and Oak Springs Elementary Schools as well as Dittmar, Pan Am, Metz, Gus Garcia, and Montopolis Recreation Centers. We have also added Foundation Communities M-Station to our group of summer bike clubs. For an hour and a half to two hours each class, the students bike around explore all the nature Austin has to offer. From the Onion Creek Greenbelt to Lady Bird Lake, this summer is sure to be full of adventure!

Trekking through the jungle that surrounds the Onion Creek Greenbelt.
We love finding murals while biking! This one is at Rosewood Recreation Center in East Austin.
Our little champion! Marcelino and the rest of the Metz riders biked to Doug Sahm Hill and back. 7.2 miles round trip!
