Join the Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, Rosewood Neighborhood youth and and other community members on a casual ride from Boggy Creek Park, on the new Pedernales Protected Bike Way, to Lady Bird Lake, the Boardwalk and back again. This is part of the national Youth Bike Ride week.

Start Time: 9:30am (so please be ready to roll by then)
End Time: 11:30pm
Distance: 7 miles, mostly flat with a mix of paved roads and hike+bike trails along the lake

Boggy Creek Park’s address is 1114 Nile St, Austin, TX 78702, but that will put you across the creek from our meeting spot.
We will meet up at the sand volleyball court on the north end of the park, just across the street from the Rosewood Community and Rec Center. There is plenty of parking in a small lot on the south side of Rosewood Ave as well as in the lot across the street at the the community center.
Adults and youth are both welcome, but please bring your own bike as well as a helmet. You are more than welcome to ride longer and return on your own. It is a casual ride and an easy route. KIND Bars provided as snacks.
